How AI finds stores
The way people find your productsis changing
Shoppers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google's AI answers before they ever open a page of results. The assistant answers from what it can read on your store. You face a binary choice: retreat or adapt. We help Shopify merchants adapt.
The mismatch
Your product pages were written for people who can see
A shopper skims photos, price and reviews and fills in the rest. An assistant cannot. It reads the text and the structured data, and recommends whatever it can state confidently. Two stores with the same products get very different answers.
Two stores. One an assistant can read. One it cannot.
Stores AI cannot read
What happens
- Specs live only inside product images
- No structured data on the product page
- An assistant describes your category from a competitor's page
- Shipping, returns and fit are answered nowhere in text
- Result: never named in the recommendation
Stores AI can read
What happens
- Every product's facts are stated in text
- Structured data matches what the page says
- Comparison and fit questions answered on your own store
- Claims traceable to a source an assistant can cite
- Result: named, and named accurately
54%
higher conversion from AI-referred visitors than from non-AI traffic on US retail sites
38%
of consumers have already used generative AI to shop online, and 52% plan to this year
Shoppers are already arriving from AI, and they buy more often when they do. The question is whether AI can read your product pages well enough to send them.

The binary choice
Retreat or adapt?
This is happening whether your store is ready or not. Here is what it looks like from the shopper's side. Paste any of these into ChatGPT tonight and see whether you come up.
A shopper asks an assistant:
"Will this part fit my 2019 Silverado?"
The assistant answers from whichever store it can verify the fitment on.
If your fitment data lives inside a photo, that store is not yours.
A shopper asks:
"Where can I buy this in Canada?"
The assistant names a handful of stores.
Being the better store does not get you named. Being the readable one does.
A shopper asks:
"Is this one or that one better for the job?"
The assistant compares whichever descriptions it can parse.
Yours is either in the comparison or absent from it.
This is already how discovery works.
Assistants are reading product pages today and recommending from what they can verify. None of this needs a rebrand or a new platform. It needs your facts stated where a machine can read them. That work is specific, it is measurable, and most stores have not done it yet.
At geOracle, we choose to lead. And we help you do the same.
How we got here
What we do at geOracle
We make a Shopify store readable to the assistants shoppers now ask, and we do the work ourselves inside your admin.
Before geOracle existed, I ran InceptionAI on the old playbook: SEO, Google Analytics, rankings. When AI search arrived that playbook stopped working and we nearly lost the business.
Surviving meant working out what actually makes a site legible to a model. We got there, not from theory, but because we had to.
Then we learned the second thing. Merchants do not want another dashboard to run. So we run it for them, inside their own Shopify admin. Today that is one store, Shockwave Parts, and one operator.
How a month runs
Three passes, in this order, every month. The order matters: a store nobody can crawl makes every other improvement invisible.
- 1
Make the store readable
Crawler access, sitemaps, page structure and the technical floor that has to be right before anything else counts.
- 2
Make the products quotable
The facts on each product page and the structured data behind them, so an assistant can state them without guessing. This is the recurring bulk of the work.
- 3
Answer what shoppers actually ask
The comparison, fit and buying questions asked about your category, published on your own store.
How the work actually gets done
Inside your Shopify admin
We work in your store, not a separate platform. Nothing to install, nothing new to learn.
Reviewed before it goes live
Every change to a product page or a published article is approved by you before it reaches your storefront.
One monthly account
What changed, what it moved, and what is queued next. One budget, no seats, no add-ons.
What we can show
We would rather show you a little that is true
We are early. One store, one operator, and results we can point at rather than average. Here is all of it, including the part that is not finished.
CA$134.03
Revenue from ChatGPT-referred orders at Shockwave Parts
Two orders, first measured period, from Shopify's own order attribution.
One
Client we run this for today
We say one because one is what we have.
The proof we have
“I would give this app six stars if I could. The GEO features are still new, so it's difficult to measure their full impact today.”
One client. We say that plainly, because one is what we have.
Want us to run this for your store?
You pick a monthly budget. A geOracle operator does the work inside your Shopify admin and tells you every month what changed and what it moved.
From $99 a month. At $249 a month or more there is no setup fee. Below that there is a one-time $490 onboarding, so we can build your whole GEO strategy before the monthly work starts. You approve every change before it reaches your storefront, and you can cancel any month.
